Graduate Engineers
Be mentored and trained in all aspects of Geotechnical Engineering
Responsibilities include:
- Fieldwork for geotechnical investigations
- Liaising with the client and field staff
- Supervise drilling of boreholes and excavation of test pits.
- Gain experience in a wide range of geotechnical investigation techniques
- Gain experience in analysis of soil testing and laboratory testing procedures.
Geotechnical Engineer
Manage own projects and fieldwork for a wide range of geotechnical investigations including investigations for commercial and residential developments, road, railway and pipelines projects, bridges and dams, hospitals, schools and major shopping centres.
Responsibilities include:
- Project proposals and managing the geotechnical field investigation.
- Logging and identifying soils and bedrock.
- Preparing fieldwork for the geotechnical investigation and liaising with the client and field personnel.
- Report Writing.
Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Reporting to the principal you will be a senior member of the team, assisting in mentoring and leading a team of skilled consultants and geologists this will involve co-ordination and supervision of all aspects of geotechnical investigation projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing projects and staff and client relationships.
- Mentoring and Training own team.
- Writing proposal, liaising with client and sub-contractors, managing the project budget, analysis and interpretation of results and writing of geotechnical report.
- Carrying out complex numerical analysis including using various software packages for slope stability, retaining systems, settlement, raft design etc.
